Megastar Amitabh Bachchan late on Friday shared the Best Actor award (male) with Ranveer Singh at the Screen Awards 2016 here.
While Amitabh was honoured for his role in "Piku", Ranveer was pronounced the best actor for his tremendous work in "Bajirao Mastani"
The award for the Best Actor in female role went to the ostentatious Deepika Padukone for her stunning acting in "Piku".
Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor was honoured with the Life Time Achievement award.
In the interim, the honor for the popular choice male and female roles went to Shah Rukh khan, for "Dilwale", and Deepika for "Bajirao Mastani" respectively.
Actor Irrfan Khan packed away the Jury Choice Best Actor (Male) and Kalki Koechlin won the Jury Choice Best Actor (Female).
The show was hosted by comedian Kapil Sharma, Karan Johar, Sonakshi Sinha and R Madhavan. The show marked stunning performances by Ranveer Singh, Sonakshi Sinha, Jacquline Fernandez and Akshay Kumar.
